Agriturismo “Palazzo di Monteoliveto” is located in a very old majestic manor house surrounded by the green and the tranquility of the woods and meadows of the hilly morainic landscape to the south of Lake Garda. The villa is close to Castellaro Lagusello and Borghetto sul Mincio, both places which are listed amongst the most beautiful villages in Italy. Monzambano is 4km, Peschiera del Garda 8km, both, Mantua as well as Verona, about 30km and Brescia 40km from the manor house. Being within easy reach of the Milan-Venice motorway and fairly close to a train station, the Agriturismo is a favourable starting point to get to the major cities of art and culture in the north of Italy. Moreover, amusement- and leisure-parks in the south of lake Garda can easily be reached. The majestic manor house is surrounded by our cultivated farmlands. Kiwis, peaches, cherries, apricots, plums and a variety of vegetables are our main products. Rows of vines and olive trees are further embellishments to the estate of Monteoliveto.

Art and nature
Outside, in the grounds of the manor house, guests can enjoy the spacious park (about 10.000 square meters), where they find the small, private oratory of San Giuseppe – a jewel of local baroque art – a large swimming pool with hydromassage and a fountain. Every possible comfort is on offer so that guests can enjoy pleasant moments of relaxation. During the summer months comfortable deckchairs and sun beds are put up by the swimming pool to make it easy for guests to sunbathe (they can also relax in the shade of the trees).
An impressive flight of steps in stone welcomes the guests and takes them to the main hall, where the reception and the breakfast room are located. It is an attractive room which calls to mind memories of past splendour and celebrations that once took place here.
Climbing up a few steps one gets to the “columned hall”, an impressive room ...with long wooden balconies across the whole front leading off to the bedrooms. These are located in the premises which, in the 17th century, accommodated Count Giovanni Battista Moratti and his wife Isabella Canossa. Afterwards Counts Montanari, Micheletti and Trezza also dwelled or spent the night here.
Due to careful restoration these rooms, where counts and countesses relaxed in the quiet and peace of the countryside, away from hectic life in society, have once again been made accessible. Today once more visitors can breathe the peaceful air of tranquility of these pleasant places while taking a rest in rooms furnished with every possible comfort.
Into the “columned hall“ there is our 6 rooms. Each room has its own furniture chosen with care and attention to detail. Each room
is also equipped with a minibar, bathroom with shower, bidet and hairdryer.
The farm is also equipped with an apartment with kitchen and all the necessary utensils for use. Ideal for those who want to stay for longer periods feeling autonomous as at home, all without giving up the comforts and services we offer.
